BMI Classification

BMI Limitations

  • Muscle Mass: Athletes with high muscle mass may have elevated BMI readings.
  • Age: Does not account for body composition changes with age.
  • Gender: Does not consider differences in body composition between genders.
  • Ethnicity: May not reflect body composition differences across ethnic groups.
